Is Pulse Productions Insured?
Definitely! We carry $2,000,000.00 liability insurance and equipment insurance to keep both you and us safe. We also carry any necessary Park & National Park licensing. We are also licensed under CONNECT Music Licensing that will enable us to play any audio/video file during our events.
Does Pulse Productions Have Written Contracts?
Yes! We believe that having a written contract and invoice protects both Pulse Productions Inc. and the client. It keeps us transparent so that there will be absolutely no surprises. We email you a copy of the contract about 3-5 days before our initial meeting, and then we go through it in detail during our initial meeting. The written contract is designed to keep everyone on the same page.
What Gear Do We Use?
We use professional-grade gear for all of our services. Some brand names that we carry but not limited to are Nikon, Sony, Panasonic (Lumix), Denon, Rhode, Zoom, Yorkville, Chauvet, JBL, Bose, Pioneer, Rane, Serato, Elinchrom, DJI, Ronin.
Does Pulse Productions Travel?
ABSOLUTELY! WE LOVE TO TRAVEL. We have done numerous events in Banff, Jasper, Canmore, Calgary, Edmonton, Cranbrook, Saskatoon and pretty much everywhere in between. We serve all of Alberta and parts of British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Please contact us to see if we will come to you.
PS: We do not charge anything extra for mileage and/or accommodations 😉
How Long Does It Take To Get Our Photos And Films?
It really depends on our work load and the time of year. We generally shoot to have the final product out to you within 9-12 weeks.

How Far Do You Travel For Weddings?
We are based in Alberta, BUT we will travel to any town or city in Canada! We are proud Canadians!
Do You Offer Albums And/Or Prints?
We sure do! Upon receiving your photos, you will also have the ability to select which photos you would like to be printed or to be put in an album. We then generate the album/prints and have them produced at a local print house in Edmonton, Alberta. Once the order is complete with our print house, we then express post them to you.
What Is The First Look?
Usually, the First Look breaks tradition and will allow the Bride & Groom to see each other before the ceremony. It’s a new trend and is growing in popularity fast.
So what is the First Look? A First Look is a moment approx. 1-2 hours prior to the ceremony where the Bride & Groom see each other for the first time on their wedding day. Traditionally, the Bride & Groom would not see each other until the Bride walks down the aisle. While the Traditional option of not seeing each other until the ceremony still happens, there are a lot of benefits to the First Look prior to the ceremony.
Think back to where you first met. Was it at a coffee shop, at a park, at a bus stop? These are popular ideas of where to have your first look as this is where you first met.
Do You Have Back Up Gear?
Yes! To put our and more specifically your mind at ease, we always carry back up gear. We even go to the extreme and have backups of backups.
We always use the dual card rule where we shoot to 2 cards.
We understand how important weddings are and we also understand that Brides & Grooms trust us to capture their day. This is why we do not leave anything to chance.
What Do We Wear To Weddings?
We dress to the type of occasion & environment that we will be photographing and filming in.
As we will be moving around a lot, we dress in comfortable business casual attire.
Will Our Photos Or Films Be Posted To Social Media Outlets?
Yes and No. You will have the option to opt-out of us posting anything from your wedding to social media outlets.
What Forms Of Payment Do You Take?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, etc.) & Interac E-Transfer.
Do You Offer Payment Plans?
We sure do!!!
Any package over the value of $3000 is eligible for our payment plan.
If We Have Several Locations For Bride & Groom / Bridal Party Photos, Do You Charge For Each Additional Location?
No Way Jose!
That would cause extra stress! Stress that is not needed. We are not in the wedding industry to nickel and dime our clients.
How Far In Advance Should We Book You?
It really depends. We suggest that you secure the venue first and foremost, then proceed with vendor bookings.
Generally speaking, we book 2 years in advance. So the faster you can secure us the better as we work on a first-come, first-serve basis.
